Reading/speaking practice that I made. My idea is to have girls read Doraemon and boys read Jjangu.

Just click/hit a key to advance the dialogue etc.

Intro ppt (lesson 2) including korean translations and funny gifs to review the vocab.
Find the apples reading game.
Sentence craft, a minecraft themed telepathy game. Kids choose from multiple choices to form a correct sentence.
Flick the coin - really simple but it's all in Korean, so make sure you understand in case the kids ask for help.

edit: fixed a couple of animation issues with sentence craft. whoops.
edit 2: I also forgot to upload the into ppt. Yikes

Introductory PPT with vocab & key expressions, not much language in this lesson so I'll just be making the one intro this time. I've also modified fallkitty's fantastic coin flick game and replaced all the Korean text with pictures instead. Be sure to check this post every now & again as I'll be editing it if/when I make more files for the later parts of the lesson.

All Periods Intro: Pretty self explanatory. (Ideal for all periods)

Coin Flick Game: Ss play in pairs. Place a coin (or an eraser) on the blue circle and give it a flick, make a sentence for wherever it lands on to claim the square. Whoever claims the most squares in the end wins. (Ideal for the first or second period)

This was a fun chapter, in my opinion. For Lesson 3 we worked on:
- review of the sports
- the book
- the worksheet provided in the CD
- and I ended it off with a practice (What does the fox say game) - attached
--- There may be a slide or two with sports not from the book (Kickball, swimming, and volleyball)
--- This was to practice speaking and writing
--- Thanks to the person who put this template on the site

So I played kickball the next day. I started off with the explanations and then we went to the gym to play. It however, took more explaining in person when we actually played and I personally had to place students in certain parts of the field and tell them where to go and what to do. It is probably easier if you have a Korean teacher with you to translate the game. It was a fun period anyway. I was happy to share an American elementary school experience with my students.

Grade 4 Lesson 2.2_Connect Four (Speaking Game)

I first divided the class in half and played this as a classroom game with all the students, before breaking them into pairs to play with each other.  Taking turns and making certain that all students spoke, they would select one of the sentences from the top of the board and speak.

*Sorry, I had uploaded the incorrect one with the wrong directions on this game.  It is good now.

I edited a sleeping lions game for writing practice (like sleeping elephants, but with an inbuilt timer to get the class in a frenzy when writing). Thanks to whoever posted the original template on another thread!.

By the way, in the "New Words" section, after "kick", it looks like the words are the grade 3 vocab for chapter 2 of the same publisher.
