If some of the sites used Edge, it wouldn't be so bad. Edge isn't that horrible and works well enough.

But no, they actually want IE, not Edge. My laptop struggled to even run it, and this dino is from 2013.

if i wanted to be a web developer in korea, and i went to university to learn, would they be teaching me to use IE and overlay jpegs on websites?

all korean websites are hideous-looking, not very functional and are filled with errors. i don't understand how it's 2018 and this still is the case

Completely agree!

Back in the 90s, some bright spark had the idea making Active X security a legal requirement for every Korean website handling sensitive data. Active X was already outdated by the 90s, but this asshat decided he knew better. So, pretty much every Korean business with a website was forced to use it. As we know, Active X only works with IE, and since Microsoft itself called out it's failure and scrapped it, it only works properly on the oldest versions of IE.

Korean businesses are now stuck with it, as the switch to Chrome would mean every Korean businesses would have to do a total IT overhaul. There's not much motivation either. Less than 5% of the internet, outside of Daum and Naver is in Korean so, Koreans stick with it.

Was told that all of my classes were canceled today, but learned last minute that wasn't true.

Students : Shocked and talking about my hair (Had a hair disaster. Hair is now weird silver purple and greeny gold orange?)
Co teacher: They are talking about your hair.
Me: Haha yeah I know.
Me to students: It's not finished yet haha.
Co teacher: They don't understand.

Sorry bitchy but if they don't understand just ****** tell them then.

I had a weird weekend, got back at midnight last night with weird hair, and I just can't be arsed to hold your hand and guide you through what you're supposed to do.

Was told that all of my classes were canceled today, but learned last minute that wasn't true.

It's like real-life Portal.

This was a triumph!
I'm making a note here:
Huge success!

It's hard to overstate
my satisfaction.

Aperture Science:
We do what we must
because we can
For the good of all of us.
Except the ones who are dead.

But there's no sense crying
over every mistake.
You just keep on trying
'til you run out of cake.
And the science gets done.
And you make a neat gun
for the people who are
still alive.

I'm not even angry...
I'm being so sincere right now.
Even though you broke my heart,
and killed me.

And tore me to pieces.
And threw every piece into a fire.
As they burned it hurt because
I was so happy for you!

Now, these points of data
make a beautiful line.
And we're out of beta.
We're releasing on time!
So I'm GLaD I got burned!
Think of all the things we learned!
for the people who are
still alive.

Go ahead and leave me...
I think I'd prefer to stay inside...
Maybe you'll find someone else
to help you.
Maybe Black Mesa?
That was a joke. Ha Ha. Fat Chance!

Anyway this cake is great!
It's so delicious and moist!

Look at me: still talking
when there's science to do!
When I look out there,
it makes me glad I'm not you.

I've experiments to run.
There is research to be done.
On the people who are
still alive.
And believe me I am
still alive.
I'm doing science and I'm
still alive.
I feel fantastic and I'm
still alive.
While you're dying I'll be
still alive.
And when you're dead I will be
still alive

Still alive.

Still alive.

I have the cake part set as a ringtone for my main coT. I don't blame her for anything, but she's normally the bearer of bad news. xD

I'm sure there's a silver lining to your story!

But yeah, hair disasters are great!
I remember wayyyy back in highschool, I tried dying my hair black using one of those "It washes out in two weeks!" deals. Dumped the stuff into my hair. Woohoo. Waited the requisite amount of time because I'm not a tard and know how to follow instructions clearly written on the box. Rinsed it out. Alright. Mission accomplished.
... so why the **** is my hair grey?
Walked around like a geriatric for like a month. It's ok, no problemo, I have thick skin. I screwed things up regularly enough back then that this particular mess-up was just par for the course.

Fast forward a year or so. Just graduated! Woot! Time to look for a solid summer job so I can not-starve during my first semester away from home at uni! Oh, and wouldn't it be great if I could dye my hair black properly?
...
...
... showed up to the interview the next day with bright blue hair because the black coloration leached out while the highlights did not. Awesome.  >:(

This sounds like a 'how-I-ended-up-in-Korea' story ^_^

If I ran down the halls screaming like a banshee when I was 9, the teachers would have come out and shat down my neck.
The first thing to say is that this is definitely not pyramid selling, OK?

Mines like that, so I wanted the rest dyed to match my natural colour.

Korean hairdressers can be hit or miss I guess, I don't blame the guy toooooo much because he's apparently the best and my hair was a disaster to begin with.

Why does anyone have to be Amy Schumer?
