What head-up-their-ass idiotic civic planner thought it'd be a good idea to set up two, count em, TWO roadwork sites Wednesday morning, rush hour, reducing a busy highway to one, count it, ONE lane, twice? Gah! I got to my school, students were waiting for me in my classroom.

Gah! I got to my school, students were waiting for me in my classroom. They do pick odd times to start their work but they do, do work. Not sure if the quality of it.Having said that, in the U.K., that road section would just be coned off for a week before they started working.
I'm not sure of the quality of the roadwork, but one thing about Korea, when they do the roads they do em and they do em fast. State of Michigan? That crap will take all summer. Road repair is one of the last things to complain about here, all things considered.

I agree, but I do have one complaint about their crews. I don't like and find it pretty dangerous the way that the work areas sometimes come up so abruptly. Like when they are working on the highway, and there isn't a work sign, but all of a sudden there are just a couple of orange cones and then a work truck just right there. It would be nice if they tapered it a bit more, and gave more warning. Other than that they sure do get stuff done. Seem like they it just took a couple of months for them to build the new bridge near my house...incredible.
I don't always care about kids being noisy, that lightens things up a bit sometimes, but my god if you're going to let them lock each other in a cabinets during class it's only going to go down hill from there.

I don't know why you're complaining: every child locked in a cabinet means one less troublemaker during class!

I am playing the game. I really am. Planned and got my vacation dates sorted after consulting all three schools two weeks ago. Got my CT at my main school to contact the other schools to confirm dates with them, including when and if they want summer camp. Got all of that done. Planned and booked a small surgical procedure and a short little away holiday. Away school says to me today "you must do summer camp these days" .... and points out the exact days of my surgical procedure and recovery period. I explain, somewhat annoyed, that unfortunately those dates have been approved by my main school as vacation days. I am told that this must change. I explain "this is impossible". I show them a week where I can fit in a summer camp for them. They will apparently have to see if it suits them. I then ask what it is they would like me to do for camp and they throw a couple of really great ideas at me... so I ask what my budget is... it is ZERO, so no. I won't do science camp or art camp, I will do a zero budget type camp (I am used to spending a little of my own cash but you have annoyed me now so you will get a real proper ass zero budget camp.) F*%k you very much.

F*%k you very much.To me this is already fixed, agreed, done, dusted. Tell your travel school, 'No!' and then see what happens. Don't waste your time compromising with them. You will have an operation, which is all fixed, and some time after to recover, that is also fixed. You don't have to change anything, it is your travel school, your main school is the important one. I've always found to play the game when everything is fixed is to say 'no!' and then wait for them to come back with something, if they can. You don't need to compromise, they need to drop it and move on.
