No repelling means they will keep doing it. Cheaper rounds to shoot some of these down ought to be in order.
Here’s the thing: 5 drones flying into South Korea without being intercepted is embarrassing.
you would think that the South Korean military has contingency plans to deal with a drone threat.

marty seems to think its no big deal.
It's like I said. Iron Dome rockets are VERY expensive, so North Korea could just bankrupt the South by flying remote control airplanes across the DMZ.
The military responded by firing warning shots and launching fighter jets and attack helicopters to shoot down the North Korean drones. The attack helicopters fired a combined 100 rounds but it wasn’t immediately known if the North Korean drones were shot down. There were no immediate reports of civilian damage on the ground in South Korea, according to the Defense Ministry.
South Korea continues to fail to do anything about north korea…
Did nothing happen to Handgook from last week after calling people pedophiles again? and cum guzzling losers? i was on vacation for a couple days. also forgot which thread/threads it was in to check on it.
His warning level was at 95% and is slowly going down. DL Orean got hit with a slightly lesser one. Auggie was at 25%.Me? Not a sound. hahahaha
I’m so burnt out I feel like I’ve reached a whole other level of burnt out. Everytime I stay late to make materials or spend time conversing with a parent about their kid’s behaviour at camp I question why the hell I’m doing all that for a crummy 2.2 a month from EPIK and a school where I get no meaningful feedback or acknowledgment from anyone. The better I get at the job, the more I want to throw in the towel. Desperately waiting for camp to be over so I can have a proper break. Just all feels like a waste of time atm.
this time of year drags on for a bit. could also be weather related frustration. Try to get lots of vitamin d. see the sun whenever possible. I dont know why your talking with parents, that is WELL beyond your job description. Public school jobs have always been about dressing nice, being on time, and not making waves. I did 8 years of public school. What finally made me switch out was the travelling to multiple schools with no regard for distances between them. Keep your head up, eat healthy, get lots of sleep, drink alcohol minimally, and see the sun. You got this, school year is almost up.
I know how you're feeling and do understand about how you are questioning your reasons for doing what you are doing. However, it will only get worse as the years go by. It doesn't get better in Korea if you are in the teaching business, and a real break...you know one where you don't speak to or have any contact with kids that aren't your own, or dealing with parents, will most likely never happen unless you quit your job...just to have an extended freshen-up. Two weeks at a time just doesn't really cut it after a while. I haven't had a decent break since 1992. Anyway, chin-up. This exhaustion and dissatisfaction does go in cycles and like BaC said 'winter just makes it worse'.

your school is making you talk to parents? jesus christ dude, that is not something that should ever be happening in epik. i cant imagine what id do if my school expected me to actually converse with some (and theyre mostly helicopter ones). probably refuse or at the very least make a terrible impression.
