Except on Saturdays, when they wonder around Myeongdong in Seoul, asking foreigners why they are in Korea, and if they hear "I teach English." during the conversation, they start screaming at the person and mention how stupid they are because of what wages are like here. They are always bad on Saturdays.

I have always got the daily wordle correct until today's. The streak extended back longer but i bought a new phone 80 days ago. I started wordle when someone here at waygook.org recommended it in early January.

It's my birthday today (May Day). I feel like I'll forgo celebrations. :(

No, that's not how it works.  If Van had written *Spoiler Alert* at the top and then I mentioned what the spoiler was, your argument would have merit. He didn't give a warning and he did spoil today's puzzle.  I'm not going to hold off on calling him out in case someone was unable to pick up on his spoiler.  In fact, the issue really goes to why he feels it necessary to keep us updated on his wordle progress in the first place.  Wordle isn't hard.  It's a fun and easy diversion each day. 

The ONE day I come back to have a look around Waygook and Wordle is spoiled.  My streak is ruined now, what am I supposed to do?  Like Augustiner says, it's one simple joy every day we all have to look forward to.  A few minutes' peace and you ruined it for no good reason other than you were desperate for attention.

1000 won is $1.22 for me.
2.1mil a month is $30,800 per year (rounded down to the nearest hundred)
and 3mil a month is $44,000 per year (rounded down to the nearest hundred).

Not everyone is from the US. So at 3mil a month, which is what I'm at, with the school paying rent, I'm probably in the average for someone with a bachelors degree, and probably above NZ minimum wage. And you never specified it was for a specific country.
Currently, the wage conversion really sucks for US people, but for Kiwis, and I think South Africans, it's decent.
