Except on Saturdays, when they wonder around Myeongdong in Seoul, asking foreigners why they are in Korea, and if they hear "I teach English." during the conversation, they start screaming at the person and mention how stupid they are because of what wages are like here. They are always bad on Saturdays.

The above happened to me in 2018, by some old foreigner dude who looked in his 50s haha. He spent the day doing it too. xD

Don't mind hangook. He get's a little excited when he visits Seoul.

Don't mind Orlean, he loses touch with reality whenever he's out of New Orleans for too long.  Stuff you can do there is illegal elsewhere.  He can't contain himself.

Asians can't be racist against white people because they are less than us. We are discriminators and the Chinese looking people are good and pure.

Only white North Americans are racist.  The rest of the world is noble and pure!?!??

1,000 won is 79 cents.

2.1 million a month is $19,944 a year.

3 million a month is $28,490 a year.

Places with $15 an hour minimum wage are $31,200 a year.

How much higher above this minimum wage is the average college grad? How useful is a university degree? Iíd think rather valuable, no?

80 days.

I have always got the daily wordle correct until today's. The streak extended back longer but i bought a new phone 80 days ago. I started wordle when someone here at waygook.org recommended it in early January.

It's my birthday today (May Day). I feel like I'll forgo celebrations. :(

C'mon Van the Man, why you gotta spoil the only thing I have going on in my life. The only thing that keeps my pathetic self going every day is knowing that I can solve the daily wordle. You took that away from me. Now I'm going to take something away from you. Imma hit you where it hurts. Right in the ol' pride. You ready? Are ya?

I find Korandos to be more rather mundane.

Cram that up your cramhole!

Happy Birthday, btw :)

I like how you tried to imply I was part of the spoiling effort because I mentioned it.

You were though. In case someone missed the spoiler, youíre spelling it out more clearly, ensuring itís spoiled. :undecided:

No, that's not how it works.  If Van had written *Spoiler Alert* at the top and then I mentioned what the spoiler was, your argument would have merit. He didn't give a warning and he did spoil today's puzzle.  I'm not going to hold off on calling him out in case someone was unable to pick up on his spoiler.  In fact, the issue really goes to why he feels it necessary to keep us updated on his wordle progress in the first place.  Wordle isn't hard.  It's a fun and easy diversion each day.

The ONE day I come back to have a look around Waygook and Wordle is spoiled.  My streak is ruined now, what am I supposed to do?  Like Augustiner says, it's one simple joy every day we all have to look forward to.  A few minutes' peace and you ruined it for no good reason other than you were desperate for attention.

Well, the mystery regarding my posts, awaiting moderation still remains unexplained.
Now, I can't even write on the ''moderation'' thread at all. All I could do there is delete my own posts and that's it.

So I'll thank Rye here for trying to write a reply on that notorious thread. Hope you see it.

1000 won is $1.22 for me.
2.1mil a month is $30,800 per year (rounded down to the nearest hundred)
and 3mil a month is $44,000 per year (rounded down to the nearest hundred).

Not everyone is from the US. So at 3mil a month, which is what I'm at, with the school paying rent, I'm probably in the average for someone with a bachelors degree, and probably above NZ minimum wage. And you never specified it was for a specific country.
Currently, the wage conversion really sucks for US people, but for Kiwis, and I think South Africans, it's decent.

I'm pretty sure that even in New Zealand, 1 dollar is equivalent to 100 cents.  :azn:
