Interesting.I'm curious when they'll drop the re-entry permit requirement for traveling abroad. Seems like it would probably be one of the last things to go since it only affects us waygs. Not that it's incredibly onerous to get, would just rather not have to deal with it again.
Yeah I hope the re-entry permit will no longer be needed. And I could do without the 2 PCR tests when returning.
Last I read, foreigners have to pay money and register to go abroad and also foreigners have to get a negative test while abroad… but Koreans and F4 ethnic Koreans don’t. That’s really infuriating because covid tests are freaking expensive: $100 to $300 according to this. I’d rather not keep having to waste time and money getting them. ___________________ ___________________ ___________________ ____If you need a COVID test for travel or other purposes, many local hospitals and clinics offer them for a fee, usually between $100 and $300.https://kr.usembassy.gov/022420-covid-19-information/ Also see Incheon Airport’s website for information on COVID-19 testing options at the airport. Please note this testing center is located before passenger check-in and requires an appointment, so it is not available to passengers in transit.
Found another Ranting Thread, but it's about us! https://www.reddit.com/r/korea/comments/qgywth/another_one_on_waygookorg/
I'm disappointed I wasn't singled out by name for my lack of helpful contributions, but whatever. As for him saying Waygook was full of young people who didn't have any experience with work or being abroad, I would say in the discussion forums that kind of person would be in the minority. Hell, a "Corn on pizza?" thread would be a welcome change from what is going on on half the board right now. It's being killed alright, but it's not by Korea Boos and naive new arrivals complaining about Koreans and Korea for all their difficulties. Quite the opposite.
I like corn on my pizza. :D
Stay on topic, please.
I've had worse things on my pizza in Korea. I recall one pizza place I ate at had corn flake cereal and salad in its pizza. They thought it fashionable.
You might want to look into removing that stick.

I'm guessing he was just channeling SPQR there for some larfs.
