Let’s try to win over those who haven’t gotten vaccinated using reason and logic. [/font]
I think this would've been your take away story from today's Herald:http://www.koreaherald.com/view.php?ud=20210720000961I don't know what their chances of winning are but this guy is clearly a Urinara anti-foreigner type. Thinks the only immigrants Korea needs are the highly qualified or ready to invest ones. And this guy went to Harvard. I like Korea, but if you're an in demand MBA Korea isn't where you want to land. I have a brother-in-law that is a marketing MBA from a well regarded business school in Canada and he has always had options for work. He and my sister have lived in Europe for the last decade. Currently, in Berlin after a few years in Geneva, he would never consider Korea. Trade a high ceilinged spacious apartment in a leafy neighbourhood with cafes for Seoul? It may be what Korea wants, but it's not a draw for those types of foreigners. They need to be realistic.
Damnit, I bought some of that Lebanese bread at the Foreign Food Mart late Saturday afternoon. Only had a couple of pieces and then brought it to work today. Just went to pull one out and it's already growing mold. Good stuff, but it's got to be consumed faster than a bunch of bananas in this weather.
Well there's always those Oatmeal cookies I posted about that could very well be from 1970s MREs...
Thanks. Fortunately, I had a half loaf of Paris Baguette's Roman Meal bread from a few weeks ago that is still soft and mold free. That worked to mop up the gravy from my delicious Dinty Moore Beef Stew. Yeah, that's right, I bought some Dinty Moore and Chef Boyardee on Saturday because I knew I wouldn't be up for cooking yesterday. And, I went to the IFC Mall on Sunday and enjoyed some authentic American Chinese food at Panda Express. It was either that or the authentic Mexican flavours at On the Border just a few doors away.

Obviously you're referencing this tune, and I am flattered, but...we need to talk. And it's OneNuthttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zH3kj4i2yys
Is enforced deskwarming while all the Korean teachers go home be something to rant about?
not really, since this is like your 15th renewal contract and you (should) know the score by now. ...and yes, we are treated differently than full-fledged korean teachers. usually for the better. this is one area where we have to eat it.
