My view on the Yoon thing- Ever since Clinton played the Sax we've wanted our heads of state to be less austere and to show "their human side". I think Koizumi belted out some Elvis once. It's one of those throw-away things. I'm pretty sure I remember some RWers hyperventilating about something Biden did on some state visit that was undignified or whatever. Same with the left and Trump.

I don't agree with Ask A Korean on everything, but sometimes he does a good job of explaining things and their context. And yeah, some people on here could bother to learn or thing of two from him because it seems with some the default position is "It is Korean and different and unfamiliar to me, therefore it is wrong and stupid."
