Felt a little sad on Sunday, but it was an improvement over the day before.

The day before was a sadder day.

I never thought I would miss the old pun runs that would derail a thread.

They laughed when I said I was going to be a comedian.

Well, they're not laughing now.

Got a big box of super sweet corn on the cob, delivered last night from Seogwipo. So sweet and crisp. A few minutes in boiling water, then sprinked in salt and rolled in butter. Ate 2 cobs with chicken and roast spuds for dinner last night. Rinse and repeat today. I'm pretty sure that the corn in my garden won't be a patch on this...sigh!

In the next few weeks, the same farm will have miniature pumpkins ready for delivery. Sweet like butternut and perfect for roasting. What more could a boy ask for... :P

You got sweet corn growing?  Here's my tip:
1) Start a big pot of water to boil.
2) Go to the garden, select a few ripe ears.
3) Run in the house shucking them as you go.
4) Drop 'em in the boiling water for 4-5 minutes
5) There is no #5
6) Apply ample butter and a bit of salt.
7) Heaven!

Absolutely Mr C. Fresh sweet corn is so good. Just as you say...that's the perfect way

Yes, I'm growing a little, but I'm not sure how it's going to turn out. The last time I grew it was in 2015, and it was little more than horse feed (wrong sweet corn seeds). However, a friend of my daughter has huge tunnel houses in Jeju, and grows some wonderful produce. His sweet corn is unbeatable, at least around here. He also grows tiny, as in fit in one hand tiny, pumpkins, then he has mandarins, and hallabong in other houses. He sends us a few complemetary boxes of citrus every year, and our daughter takes care of the rest. Perks of knowing people who know people  :cheesy: Comes in handy sometimes.

Raving happy... love...

 thedodo.com

They had over a billion views in 2015 and i've dabbed in their billions of views since.

I posted there today: "My dad saved a sparrow half frozed on the snow. It lived in the kitchen and living room until spring, the sink full of water to drink and swim. In March my dad had two young sisters release it. It flew away. Then about 14 months later a bird tapped on the window: it came back with two much-more-hesitant chicks. My dad kissed the bird, fed all three, then they flew away."

It was in response to a typically great thedodo.com video about an animal rescue.

A joy of a site to pop up daily on youtube.

A little humid but nice weekend.
I put this quote under my profile because D.L. Orean is jealous of me.  He quotes my every word like gospel and stalks my every move online.  He even puts fake quotes under his profile.  How lame is that?  He must be real ugly if he's going to such great lengths to comment on my own appearance....

I may have six classes today, but I only have two tomorrow.

Just got to get through the day.

They're busy, but I prefer my six class day. The time just flies by.  I also have a two class day tomorrow because of a scheduling change and I find those really long days.

I didn't used to mind them but now they're a big drag. They make my own days so much longer because I feel like I can't get anything done (I'm always working on something). No time to even breathe.

It doesn't help that some of my worst classes are rammed into my Mondays this semester.

Fridays are 6 classes back to back for me.  Rough and tough.  Thankfully, the co teacher actually co teaches on that day.

Mondays 3 classes but cancelled today.  Woo hoo!!  But got a lot of my second semester shit done at this school and some finishing touches on ppts, etc.  Busy day for no classes.

Indeed. Not too hot, but wet.

Loved the monsoons of years ago; the somewhat spitting days of today are a pale comparison, but better than the temps to come (32 C+ averages).

Weekend did make for some nice pics though which I posted before.

Gassy. As in, people that get in Van's elevator are not only loosers and morans, but usually are gassy, thus upsetting Van and making Van want to go to his Korando and pass some gas of his own.

Gassy.

OMFG! I knew Ryan Reynolds was funny, but i didn't realize how much he did it unprepared, on the fly:

A comedian in an acting career.

I dare you not to laugh: https://youtu.be/UnW52iopZcw

(Raving, happy... indeed)
