Nine Inch Nails just announced for Pentaport festival in Incheon this year. Made my day!

Have you been to that festival before? Thinking about going, but if it's as badly managed as the one in Ansan, forget it.

No, I've never been. It's a 3 day event, but they don't have camping, as it's pretty much in the middle of Songdo/Incheon. I found Jisan Valley to be poorly organized too.

Jisan/Ansan was basically the same event. I went to see Foo Fighters in 2014 and the entire area was a mud pit, with only one kind of beer (Korean!) available.

No work on Wednesday for the next two weeks.

Really wish this site would upgrade its emotes. I vote for at least hearts.

Maybe they'll make more emotes with the new user interface update.

They should charge a fee for an emotes pack and bin the fee for the lesson plans and regain some honor.
Who is here in 2019?

If they did, denimdaze would be posting in ranting/venting megathread 3.0 :)

Alas, it was too good to be true.  Today I was told the dates have been changed.  At least I trusted my instincts and hadn't booked a flight for vacation yet. I'm too tired to rant and vent about it.

I've been told mine too. Thankfully, they can't really change.
Summer vacation is so short for my school, it doesn't even seem like a full 4 weeks, so once we do a week of camp + my vacation, it'll be straight back into school again haha.

I know these feels. We literally have two weeks of actual break-time, and one of them is a camp.

I wouldn't trade my high school job for a longer summer break, though. Winter vacation is going to more than make up for it.
I'm funnier in Enochian.

Did some cooking yesterday. Both Bourdain recipes. US Ribeye and spaghetti pomodoro, sauce from scratch.

Gonna brine a porkchop tonight and make more spaghetti cuz I got a lot of tomatoes. hahahaha

Looks nice. Tomato season is good season.

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW YEAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Have you ever seen him live before? It's a really... odd show.

I saw him about twelve years ago, and it was good, but not what you'd expect. Also, he didn't really sing so much as bark his songs. He took a lot of artistic liberty with his songs, which was really cool - but also, if you're expecting to go and hear him sing his classics the way he sang them in the studio, you'll be super disappointed.

Oh, don't worry, I've seen him 4 times in Ontario. haha

Yeah, it's hit or miss, but I consider it a pilgrimage to a hero of mine. I've heard he's actually stepped up his game a lot in the last year and a half and his shows are really good now.

Haha. This was really hard to interpret (purposefully, I thought) if you're not logged in and don't have the benefit of being able to see attachments.

I wonder if I couldn't leverage this to convince my dad to come out to Korea for my daughter's first birthday party. He and his wife make it a point to go to Bob Fest every year. (And they made sure not to miss the Donovan Concert at the Madison Overture Center last year!)

Okay. Hm. Maybe I will have to get a ticket, then. But I already got my Kendrick ticket, so I've been spending too much on shows lately.
