Where can I buy a warm duvet/blanket that won't break the bank?
« on: November 09, 2015, 02:20:30 pm »
I have searched Gmarket and the blankets I bought from there were always very thin.
Where can I get one that is nice and thick, like a duvet but microfiber/fleece or some other material that will keep me warm when winter comes.Online preferable.

I don't know about online, but I feel like there are blanket/bedding stores all over the place. I don't know where you are located, but if you're near a place with a subway system, you can usually find thick winter blankets in the underground shops. Dongdaemun in Seoul you can find one for sure. They usually go for about 40,000.

I don't live in a big city, and I see those bedding stores all year round, everywhere.

Also, you can try looking for an electric blanket. Those aren't too expensive either. Maybe 20,000?

This is the one I bought and it's great! I haven't even turned on my heating system yet.

Yeah! I have a similar one, but I got mine in a bedding store. Regardless of where you get it, they are nice.

How much are you looking to spend? We bought a duet cover and some nice inserts for it, and I don't think it was crazy high. The one we have is made to where you can use one for the warmer months, and attach a another one for the colder months. I will check with my better half to find out how much they were and the site she ordered from. (I am half posting now so that I can find the thread again to let you know. I know this post wasn't very helpful)

I bought this one http://item2.gmarket.co.kr/English/detailview/item.aspx?goodscode=290241510

Which I use with a very light throw blanket over, and an electric blanket.

I hate being weighed down by heavy blankets, and I've always used duck/goose down because it regulates heat well
