Very handy, I like it. What grades did you teach this to?

Depends on the level, but I teach it to my 1st and 2nd grade middle school students. I have to modify the activities depending on the class level and dynamic.

Here is a presentation that I made about water animals and comparatives ('er').  It's for intermediate elementary school kids.

Here's another presentation about comparatives but it focuses on 'est'.

I realized this thread is for middle school students (after I posted the last ppt) but I think it might be helpful (you can alter it to meet your students' level)

I really hope it's helpful.  My kids LOVED it (but they're elementary school kids)

Comparatives Lesson - Middle School (Medium Level)

I did a lesson on Adjectives and now we are starting with Comparatives. I haven't done the lesson yet, but I put a lot of thought into it and I think it will go well :)

This is the best lesson I've ever had from Waygook. BRAVO! My 1st grade middles loved it, and most of 2nds enjoyed it too. Lots of laughs, they understood the concepts; BLOODY GOOD JOB, NIZZY! Thank you so much! <3

Nice lesson, I like to compare similar pictures to practice. Van Gogh's painting, "Dr. Gachet" is good for this because there are 2 similar versions of the same painting, one painted for Van Gogh's family and one was  gift for the doctor. I recently got a class of art students using lots of comparatives to explain which was their favourite
