Indoor running track...
« on: October 06, 2006, 07:40:59 pm »
Hello folks!

Does anyone know of a "indoor track" near or in Gwangju? I know it's a ridiculous question to ask, considering the fact that I am in a country that probably has better things to do with its land, but I used to run back in Thunder Bay, and it made me feel a bit better and at ease with things, so I am trying to find something similar here.

Any clues where I can start looking?  google has been useless in this case.

 Hello:

I would suggest contacting the universities in Kwangju. I doubt that such tracks exists in Cholla, though, or elsewhere. I have never seen a jogger on the streets of Korea, except for the local baseball team running together. Hiking, as you know, is much more prevelant. Good luck.

I don't know how close this is for you, but during orientation I would run in the park near the folk art museum. It was hilly, but I thought it was run-able.

I've been stuck on the treadmill here (the hills are NOT run-able!) which sucks. Good luck at finding something better!
