Last Letter Game
« on: April 07, 2011, 02:56:49 pm »
Hey guys,

Here's a really fun game for kids to play.

What you need:
white board or chalk board
1 marker (or chalk) for each team plus 1 for yourself (4-6 total)
stop watch, clock, timer on TV, anything to count down time

1 kid per team goes up to their area on the board. Divy up board space so each team has a spot. The first kid writes a word on the board and then passes the marker (chalk) to the next student. The next student must then write a word that starts with the last letter of the previous game. And so on. I have each round lasting 1-3 mins.

You can get creative and change things up. For example, 1st round: 3-letter words, 2nd: 4-letter words, etc. Speed rounds: 1-2 students per team going at it for 30-60 seconds. Make each word worth more points the deeper you get into rounds. Make it so each team has a chance to win towards the end. My kids go bananas over this game.
