These are the lessons I have delivered this week.

Grade 1 really enjoyed this. The important thing was the first 15 mins, ask lots of content checking questions and encourage use of the key words sheet to help them build comprehension and context. Only one questions was answered incorrectly, they almost always used the full 45 seconds to answer.

Grade 3 understood the answers were always on the info sheet and quickly became switched on to finding the answer and saying it aloud. 30 mins was perhaps optimistic more like 25. So I asked spot questions after to fill the time.

If I did anything differently with grade 3 I would drill the keywords sheet to help with pronunciation of some of the longer words and reinforce the new vocab.

Hope these help.

Thanks! Really good game and presentation! I will definitely be using them as a belated St Paddy's day lesson for my after school class.

The only small amendment I would make is that St. Patrick's day is on the 17th of March, not the 16th. At least this is what the Gods of Internet tell me.

But still, awesome lesson, great game and good advice. Thank you.
