Landlord breaking lease without notice. Legal question.
« on: February 19, 2014, 03:16:38 pm »
I've been trying to find the standard law for the amount of notice the landlord must give to break a contract. Does anyone have any information on this?

Ideally cited from a legal document, not just conjecture. The only place I found information on it was within the Korean Civil act, but it's very general. The contract my school signed with the landlord has no information pertaining to cancellation of the contract or notice.

Should be 30 days, but call these people up. I'm sure they would be willing to talk to your landlord for you.

Excellent, thank you. I will find out what advice they can give me.
I had no idea that building existed.
