How many pyeong (평) is a studio apartment?

I'm trying to figure out the size of my studio (one-room) apartment. How many pyeong would the typical NET studio apartment be?

When I was looking slightly than larger one-rooms were closer to 40m squared (some advertised as 43), but that is def including more than the house itself. My current one room (which is slightly larger than some) is 30m squared on the lease. Can't help with the pyeong, as my lease doesnt include it

1평 is equal to 3.30mē. So that would make your place 9평.

Most of the time they advertise X평 but you don't get that much because they include common areas.

By the way they are LEGALLY supposed to advertise the metric size.

I'm moving and have been looking into houses a lot recently. I found an app that general shows both sizes, so it's helpful.

The smaller, individual unit size is called 전용면적 (jeon yong myeon jeok). The larger area, which usually includes the hallway/common areas, is called 계약면적 (gye yak myeon jeok).
