I just used this template for a game with my grade 3 middle-schoolers. They absolutely loved it! Thank you for your time and effort in making this ppt. My reputation as cool-teacher has been saved yet again  ;D

Here ya go. Should be working properly now. Let me know.

By the way, to fix it, I just had to set the timing for the automatic advance to 0:00, instead of 0:01.

Where is the updated version?

Yours looks awesome too! More work went into it and you have better skills than me. I used Audacity to clip the individual fox noises from the song for each reward slide.

Yeah I use Audacity a lot at school too. http://freesound.org is a great site if you are looking for some random sounds.

I'm pretty sure the sounds are phonetic approximations of the sounds that foxes actually do make (they make a variety of sounds). If you search on youtube there's a video comparing the real sounds to those in the video. I don't think he was trying to make fun of asian kung fu noises...

The fixed version has replaced the broken one on the original post.

I didn't remake it. I just fixed it a little bit. You can find it on Page 1 of this thread, on salambander's first post. It's called "FOX Yvis game.zip" I accidentally spelled Ylvis wrong.

Any way to get this in plain old PPT version? My amazing computer won't open PPTX and I know my kids will be crazy for this game. Thank you to the maker! ^^

Fantastic job!! Well done!! My students are going to love this. I just finished using the video to teach them the differences between Korean and English Onomatopoeia so this is the perfect ending. Thanks a million!!

I love the "unfriendly horse" bit. ;D

Thank you for the template!  My kids love this song, so I used your game to play a BEPA review game.

Just a heads up though, I had one 5th grade student pull me aside today.  He told me the game was fun, but that he hasn't slept well since we played the game Tuesday because he is afraid of the horse.  I haven't changed it because I won't be using the game with their grade again, but just wanted to share.  Other than him, the rest of my students loved the game!
With peace in my mind
With peace in my heart
Peace in my soul
Wherever I'm going, I'm already home.

If you think your kids would be scared by the horse, because they're elementary school level or something, maybe switch out that picture for this one (and change the font colours so that they're clearly visible). Right click on the picture after pasting it in, and hit "send to back" to make it the background of the slide.
