How to get involved/volunteer in local community? (Daegu)
« on: March 16, 2011, 07:50:57 am »
Hey Guys,

I am looking for ways to meet more locals and gain friends. Going to the gym and walking about is only helping a little.

Are there local community centre's where I can volunteer? Orphanage, teaching english, getting involved in local sports league etc...

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I live in Jincehon Daegu

Just check your visa restrictions.  You may not be allowed to teach English or do other things voluntarily without permission.  Sorry.

As long as there's no compensation involved, you should be fine. Mention it to your co-teacher as a courtesy.
