Reading / guessing games for your after school lessons!
« on: June 20, 2015, 02:35:56 pm »
I've used this for elementary but I figure you could easily do this for middle school lower level students and they're easily adjusted.

They're simple powerpoints that have clues and the students should guess the animal.
You could play in teams and or individuals and have them write or say the answers, up to you.

English Olympic Games - combination of guessing game and some other activities such as trash ball shooting hoops and rock paper scissors challenge. http://mrsbaiasclassroom.blogspot.kr/2015/06/english-festival-half-time-show-free.html

Another activity would be to tell the students to make their own clues and then have the class listen and guess. Encourages students to write and think creatively and good for those higher level kids.

Happy Teaching!
