"And they all always want different things. "

Just tell them what you require of them.

I agree.  I've seen quite a few posts by you, cowboy, and none of them seem to be great.  I had 10 coteachers last year, so I got out of that school when renewal time came around.  I am not at a tiny school with 2 coteachers.  It is a lot less stressful!  Good luck and I agree... get out of that school!!!

Well, get out and hope the new school isn't worse. Too bad it has to be a gamble.

I have 15 at 3 schools - at least some of them never come to class, and I do what I want.

8?  pshhhh, i have 39.  just kidding, seems like everyone is trying to one-up this fella.

anyway, advice would be to sit all the co teachers down and establish your role and your classroom expectations so that everyone knows what's going on.  make them understand that there needs to be some sort of consistency if you're going to be working with 8 different individuals who want different things.

Wait, does 'co' teaching actually exist somewhere?

You don't have to leave your school. Just tell them that you'd rather handle the classes, and they can support you with translations (when necessary) and discipline. That's better for the students anyway, since they probably only get proper pronunciation once a week.

Haha, wasn't trying to 1 up anyone... :) I'm just frustrated too-it's WAY too many people to work with! I teach each of my 20 (21 starting Monday...) classes with their individual homeroom teacher-some are cool, some are lame-o. I thought the other English teacher (Korean English teacher) would be my co-teacher, but turns out, co-teacher can mean 10 million people. Ah Korea. It's all...so...fun.

Exactly ^
I don't know how long you've been here or what the school expects of you. Just prepare an activity or 2 for each class, and do the book first. Lead the class, and don't forget to involve your co-teachers because if you're all independent, they'll stop showing up and/or listening to your lessons.
