You should get your documents in order first.  You can apply direct with POE, EPIK, SMOE, or through recruiters.

the procedure is mostly the same, except you will need to account for the fact that it will take longer to gather your documents from korea.
use google to search the site

site:waygook.org XXXX

replace 'XXXX' with your search term

I agree with what Taeyang said. I'm worried because I think you're cutting it close if you're considering applying directly through EPIK (when I think about how long it'll take to get all your documents together). As I'm sure you know from previous experience, it's a competitive program and so the job openings are filled much quicker than when you applied in 2010/2011. Also, please keep in mind that the number of people hired has decreased since then. And if you look at some of the posts in the forum, they've already started interviewing. Have you thought about applying for a teaching position at a university? There are quite a few in Daegu and its surrounding area to choose from.

That still happens in every province.  In that situation however you are are not applying through EPIK or GEPIK.

It can be done fairly easily, and you can actually get the important documents from the immigration office / POE. I managed to get most of my documents in country, and it wasn't that difficult, however, this was back in February, so I would say if your wanting to apply now you really need to get a move on. Plus there is no guarantee of Daegu if your applying PS, you can request it, but the chances with late documents could be slim.
