Awesome website for lesson plan ideas
« on: April 29, 2013, 03:08:03 pm »
I stumbled upon this awesome site while searching Google for lesson plan ideas. If you've seen it already, cool, if you haven't I'd say it's worth checking out. It has thousands of downloadable worksheets and full lesson plans that are easy to tweak to fit whatever you're doing. I'm using some food lesson ideas for my 5th grade class this week. Hope this helps someone out there!

I've just signed up and already found some useful worksheets that I can use next week!  Thanks!

Hijacking this thread to link to another great site...

I wish I could use more of these lessons as is, but my low-level middle school classes are too big and too disinterested. If anyone has decent high-level or interested adult classes, this website is the bomb.

I just checked out the busyteacher.org site.
Very cool.
They have a drop-down menu for each month of the year to do some seasonal stuff outside of your textbook. It's good for word puzzles too. It's nice to have another resource instead of always doing a "game" at the end of a lesson.
I've decided next week I'm gonna teach all my kids how to make a Mother's Day card! Fun  8) It's Sunday, May 12 btw, don't forget to call your Mom :)
