How about a "Troll thread"
« on: March 11, 2013, 03:11:37 pm »
Yeah, I probably have too much time on my hands here... and its monday afternoon and all.

I'm just wondering, how does a section or a sticky thread sound, specially designed for trolls and troll posts?

Name suggestions: -Troll here.
-The troll thread
-Ruck and Troll
-Bored waygook Troll
or something like that

Last week was like some kind of a troll-festival on waygook. (Maybe the start of the new semester has something to do with it).
The guy who claimed he was headbutted by a coteacher was hilarious - but soon after deleted!
More serious seeming threads were suspected as possible trolls.

Imagine, if someone trolls, it could be send to the troll-thread as punishment.

1 NB rule though, 'keep it clean or it won't be seen'

(Glad I killed some time here. Tell me what you think. You can tell me I'm full of crap too.)

just stick to reddit and 4chan.
use google to search the site

We tried something along those lines.  Not quite a troll thread, but religious debate area, all goes except pornographic content, violence, etc...

So you mean, a section (maybe called "The Infamous Boards") where no one could actually post, but if a thread was deemed trollish in some other part of the site, it would get sent there?  No need to even lock it, as when it gets move no one can post in that board, but could still be read?

Maybe even allow posts to go in after a mod review? although that seems to defeat the point of anyone wanting to post there.
Carpe Diem

I nominate this thread to be the first entry.

Lol I was expecting that.

In response to Arsalan's post:

Yeah, something like that. Having said that, if you guys reckon it didn't work before, there is probably no use.

This petition is really sad.  The only people who seem to care about creating a useless thread like this are those who are constantly glued to this site 24/7.  I'm sorry, but living on waygook outside of school just to read memes, troll posts, and other nonsense that you'd find on other sites is not my idea of a good time.

Some people enjoy the internet more than others. No reason to visit this site only during the day. The internet is available at all hours! I'd rather surf the internet than hang out with people at a bar... now that's a waste of time and health ;)

Well in my case not 24/7, just mostly during work hours. I blame deskwarming for that.
But point taken.

There aren't enough people on here with a sense of humour.
