Middle School (Low Level) Map - Looking for an illustrated map
« on: October 24, 2010, 02:56:25 pm »
Looking for an illustrated city map that is easy to read for a middle school lesson on
map reading and directions.

Basically need something that will grab their attention and not be incredibly complicated to read.

If you have any suggestions, that'd be a great help - thanks in advance!

I made this map for a teaching demo, but it would be a piece of cake to use for any kind of map lesson

This is a ppt I put together for the directions chapter. There's a couple of maps on it that worked well for getting students to give me directions
