China's 2.06 million propaganda workers
« on: February 04, 2013, 03:01:35 pm »
Before I had heard about 'propaganda workers' online, I always thought something like this was very possible and even clever (if you could somehow rally enough people to do this for you).  If you could get 2 million people to LIKE your youtube video, or post comments on news sites, forums, to influence public opinion, you could do a lot of 'damage' and manipulating.

In your opinion, how real do you think this is?  Are there really 50,000 workers in some factory clicking on computers to "control" trends or make trends that aren't actually real?

I always wondered how strange videos and such could get 2 million views in 2 days.  I'm sure some are real viral videos, but some probably get 'help' by propaganda workers to bring them to the forefront of the news and worldwide attention.  Could you imagine if there are 2 million PAID trolls? That's a scary thought.

**There are companies in Russia and India - who if you pay them - will GIVE you

2 million likes on your YouTube video
or
2 million likes on your Facebook page  (would cost you $71,000)
or
2 million Titter followers    (would costs you $70,000)

(GIVEN to you within 7 days)...

For people like you and me $70,000 is BIG money to pay to get 2 million Facebook likes or 2 million Twitter followers - but to communist countries leaders - it's small money.
