English language schools for Koreans in North America?
« on: November 28, 2012, 10:13:08 am »
Hey guys,

My co-teacher is looking to send her daughter abroad to an English language school. She says it really helps Koreans get a good job if employers see they English studied abroad. She asked me for help, but google is my only resource at the moment.

Do you have any Korean friends who have studied abroad at language schools? or do you know of any reputable institutions?

She says she prefers America. I am open to all suggestions though.

Help a sista out if you can. Thanks a bunch!

Ehh, i dont know of any specifics.  The koreans i know who moved to america for schooling seem to have just jumped in.  They have a korean/korean-american social group and otherwise just go to english school like normal.  Obviously Cali and Chicago have some pretty huge korean populations so those would be good places to start looking.
