Express mail

Hey just wondering about korean post offices,

The last time I sent something it took 2 weeks. That was regular mail. Is there some kind of express option you can do at the post office for sending a letter back to Ireland in faster time?

When you go to the post office, look for the stuff that says EMS on it.

Kind of like http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_A0dOjIJUPzg/THdrb0inxKI/AAAAAAAAAio/e2ueTNgrBB4/s1600/SDC13790.jpg but for envelopes

A lot seems to depend on luck.  I send a package to Ireland last Thursday normal post and they got it yesterday.  Im guessing it got on the right truck at the right time and straight on to  a plane.

The quickest service is called EMS.  If your Korean is lacking and their English is poor, literally just point at the box and say "EMS."  They'll give you a little form to fill out with address and such.  Everything you need to fill in will be in English and Korean on the form.

It's really easy so don't worry about it.  You can have things already boxed and just slap the label on there or use and pay for one of their boxes at the P.O.
