Flat/Apartment Rental
« on: February 03, 2011, 10:51:05 pm »
Hi everyone!

I need help!!
I'm flying from Barcelona to Korea in two weeks, and KU just told me I didn't get a dorm assigned (great).
I'm looking for a shared flat and I've created a profile in different "rental websites"...but Im not sure it will work out (not many adds are posted).

Should I wait and start looking once I'm in Seoul? Do you know any interesting and useful real states? Do they ALL charge hugeeeee deposits?

A typical deposit is 5 million won.  Good luck with your search

Like an apartment? My building has some spare rooms in a mostly English teacher building near Gangdong Seoul.
Your school should pay the majority of the deposit. I just paid $500.

If you are still looking for a place to stay, my officetel is currently available. I live with my boyfriend so my place is empty. I usually let friends who are visiting stay. My contract ends in August so you will have to find another place by then. Another option is you can just pay one month's rent (month of march is it?) so that you can look for a more permanent place for the rest of your year. If you want more details shoot me an email:
