I've never seen a sign in sheet in any of my schools. I teach public school. Is this a common thing?

I would be equally upset, especially if I found out he/she had done it on something more significant than an attendance sheet. But, as you said, the bright side is that in two weeks you will move on from there! Hold tight until then!

I didn't even know such a sheet existed but I've never had trouble getting paid or getting paid the right amount or getting time off so I guess there's no need to worry about it for now.

I'd be worried about whether the correct reasons and amount of time are written down since this may affect paid leave down the road.

pretty common when dealing with non koreans.
whenever i had to sign a contract and what not i was told to just write my name and then to put my red finger print on it.
but other times people were like 'so u remember that thing we talked about i signed it for you'
and actually i was asked to sign for another foreigner on their behalf but i refused of course. ...
i seriously doubt anybody would do that with their co-nationals ...

Actually my youngest co-teacher (A.K.A other co-teacher's personal maid) is my handler...
And I'm thankful for her that I don't have to go through the v.p. and principal everytime I need to leave school early for something.  She even told me that most of the time she hates going to the v.p./principal's office because she feels uncomfortbale and scared haha.

I've been quietly following your problems and I'm really glad you're getting out of there #based. Whenever any of our co-teachers help us out, we always make sure to thank them and when appropriate, treat them to something. Our main handler always replies that she's just doing her job, but we tell her that there are co-teachers like yours that don't.

Really hope for your sanity's sake that this next school really is better for you!
