Save the princess adventure game
« on: January 16, 2011, 12:18:42 pm »
I only had a few students in my winter camp, so I came up with this adventure game to play with them. It's deisgned for around 6 students, but can work with as few as 2 or 3, and might be able to go as high as 8. I was able to get about three 45 minute classes out of it.

Looks very interesting.  Reminds me of my D&D playing days when I was a kid:-)  I had some trouble with the files though.

I can't get the word doc to open.  I get a message saying "There was an error opening the file."

On the PPT file, some of the links seem to be missing.  For example, there are no links to the "Cave" or "Port" on page 14.  Only to the "Farm".  As far as I can tell, that prevents you from going to the next step in the story.  There were some other pages I wasn't sure I was doing what you intended.  Is that explained in the Word doc?

Yeah there s a mistake with the ppt presentation as the images to the Cave are supposed to link to page 16, and the port image is suppsoed to link to 17. I never noticed that until now just because of the way the game played out for me.

Yeah the word doc is supposed to clarify anything about the powerpoint slides that isn't directly mentioned. Some of the slide also link more by jsut advancing to the next slide than by clicking pictures.

Here's a version of the Word doc in 97-2003 compatibility mode, hopefully this works for you.
