Hey I'm  wanting to do a half marathon this year. Do you know of any up and coming in Seoul or Incheon for 2011?

There are many races every week somewhere in Korea... If you want to run in a big race (the biggest in Korea) the Seoul International Marathon is in March. Though, you can only sign up for a full marathon... website .donga.com/seoul/international_e1.html .. The Hi Seoul is also a big one in Seoul. Not sure when it is though.

Where do you live? There are a couple of foreigner running groups in Korea that can help you figure out race registration and anything else.

The website marathon.pe.kr lists most scheduled races in Korea but it is in Korean.

Enjoy!

As mentioned already, the Seoul International is coming up on March 20th. It's a full marathon (and not a half), but it's a fantastic course through Seoul. I ran it last year and thoroughly enjoyed it. (I don't find marathons as bad as many people would have you believe otherwise).

Otherwise, get in touch with Seoul Flyers Running Club. (google it). They always have a list of upcoming events and, provided you pay their yearly fee, I believe they pay for all races for you for the year.
