Anyone's watched Wicked?
« on: July 09, 2012, 11:51:37 am »
I'm planning on buying tickets for Wicked.
How was the perfomance? Was it really spectacular/definitely worth the VIP tickets?
I would appreciate your thoughts. Thanks!

I went :)

Good fun.  We were up in the nosebleeds (third level, 70,000 W tickets) and still had a good view and really enjoyed ourselves.

I thought it was great! The costumes are awesome!
Tickets were almost sold out when I went, and I was at the VERY back row. Only 50,000 won and it was still good.

I bought VIP tickets because I love "Wicked" and the sets and costumes are very detailed.  The next priced seats after the VIP, however, are just as good.  "Wicked" is an excellent show that's guaranteed to entertain most people!  The woman in the role of Glinda was particularly good and had great timing in most scenes!

Sounds cool.  Is it in English or Korean?  How many more months will it be around?

It's in English.  The cast is touring from Australia.  I think it runs until mid-August or sometime thereabouts.

Watched it in London and enjoyed it. Worth going to. The only thing I would caution is that I was right at the back with the cheapest tickets and thus rented binoculars to see the show better. However I don't know how big the venue is in Korea.
