I'm looking for a good pair of hiking shoes and are looking for them in size 11.5. This size is mostly non-existent in all the stores I look into. I'm looking for name brands, be it adidas, north face, nike, etc. Let me know if anyone has any luck finding these brands in higher sizes in NW south korea, thanks!

Itaewon

I'm size 14 and I go to Merrill in Itaewon because they are literally the only store that have a selection of shoes for me to choose from.

I live way out in the country and stores here will just order in a larger size.  Might take a week or two.  Most stores don't carry anything over 290mm, but they can get larger sizes easily from their suppliers.

Brand-specific stores tend to carry larger sizes.
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me.

It's near Outback Steakhouse, Subway subs, and Seoul Pub.

Is Merrill the same as Wangbal?  I only know about Wangbal.  I have size 15 feet...  I bought my last pair of sneaks at the Yeoju Premium Outlet, but the whole place only had one pair that fit.  A couple years back, I did find a pair that fit in Chungju's Asics store.

Merrell is Merrell. Google it.

The Merrell online store had nothing even remotely close to my size.  Presumably this one in Itaewon is different?

Dunno about 15, that could be tough.
I know for sure they had 13.

Just as everyone else said, Itaewon is your best bet. However online shopping is also an answer.  I have found that the generic sites (Gmarket 11st etc) don't stock big sizes but the suppliers do.  Check out nikestore.co.kr . I bought my last pair of running shoes from there and they have good range

I've had no luck at all, my shoes are a disgrace now. As someone else said, be careful if you order online that they're not too expensive or they'll slap on a nice customs charge for you.

I bought some hiking shoes that I am pretty happy with. I can't think of the store name right now, but it is on the same side as Merrell, I think all shoes there were like $140. Anyway, just go to the won and look at all the big shoes shoe stores.
Until next time, I will speak to you next time.

I bought my last pair of running shoes on Amazon.com and just had 'em shipped here. It was still cheaper than buying them in Korea (Mizuno size 13). Cost me under $70 for the shoes and if you have friends include other important stuff in the shipment it's totally worth the shipping costs.
