I found that my students were struggling with the numbers and clocks idea so I pulled some workbook materials and put it into two worksheets. The first is a reading comprehension worksheet as well as writing about themselves. This is more advanced but I figured I would throw it out there. The second sheet has clocks they have to read the written time and draw the hands, read the clock time and circle the correct written time, and reading and writing numbers. Hopefully this is useful for some of your students. Good luck with teaching your lessons!

*Right now it is printing slightly dark and I'm not sure why. I'll try to get this figured out and re-post it soon. Sorry!

Hmm...I've been trying to open your pdf file but adobe is saying that it's empty or something...would you please be able to upload it again?

Thanks in advance :)

Okay it is re-loaded. Try it and see if it works now. If not, I'll post the word file of it. It just won't work as well for the fonts so I don't want to post it if I don't have to.

Here is a simple word search worksheet I made to spin out the wrap-up section.  Fairly straight forward (just type in your name for question 4- the answer is eight-ten).  Once the Ss have filled in the gaps and clock faces, they should find the 5 answers in the word search.

Key sentences worksheet to help students practice sentence structure/ word order. Used during the reading/writing lesson.

I'm apologizing in advanced, because your kids will get addicted to this game.

All you need is a bouncy ball and a couple of desks pushed together. This version is for Lesson 7, but it can be adapted to pretty much fit any lesson.

I hope you like it! It's an original of mine.

Here's a song and video I made for teaching about time and routines.  It's a bit fast but I've still had success with it for 4th grade and up. The higher level students can mostly keep up while the lower levels are still able to participate at least on the Chorus.

I'm attaching a slide show of the lyrics and a printout, too. Hope it helps!

I have a few things for this topic, so I hope you can use some of it. I found the Fruit Ninja game template on here, & I thought the video would be funny to go with it.

Telephone: Review and Game

How to Play:
Divide class into four groups.
Each group gets their own set of pictures.
Each group stands in a line, front of class to back of class.
Teacher stands in the back with the last student from each group.
Class reads the sentence in red.
Teacher whispers the answer.
Students whisper the answer down the line.
First student in each group picks the correct picture and writes the time on the board.
* Last few slides are without a picture and question to insure that they whisper the whole answer, and not just the time.

First team: 3 points
Second team: 2 points
Third team: 1 point
Fourth team: 0 points

*Students will need to be reminded to whisper, and not to jump the line. Must whisper person to person.

Dice Game:
Play in groups of two or three.
Each group gets one board.
Each student gets one schedule and uses their erasure as their "person."
Need one die per group.

How to Play:
Roll the Die (The die is the time).
Write the sentence in the square at the same time as the die.
Move erasure one square.

1st time roll a number use "o'clock."   Example: roll a six, write in 6:00
2nd time roll a number use "___:30." Example: roll a six a second time, write in 6:30
3rd time roll a number: lose a turn and do not move forward. Example: roll a six a third time, do not write and do not move forward.

The student who fills up their whole schedule first is the winner.

I edited a PPT that someone made with some key words and added slides to practice the key expression with Rilakkuma gifs.

There is also a bingo board, the students can fill in the times as they like and can either play following the pictures for each column or ignoring the pictures and just playing in rounds (i.e. round 1: What time do you get up?; round 2: What time do you have lunch?, etc.).

I have two short "warm-up" or vocab review activities, one I call "Brilliant Brains", the other is "English Drop", though they are both basically unscramble the word and unscramble the sentence games. (Each should take under 10 minutes.)

I also have a writing station activity that needs about 20 minutes.  Your groups of students move from station to station writing sentences, doing a crossword, etc.  I give them 3 minutes per station.  This is not my idea, I took it from j.jeane who has essentially the same thing in leesson 2.

ALL REMOVED
