Watched 'Cocaine Bear' last night. Pretty sure someone mentioned it before but me being 'Blind Pew', I can't seem to find the post.

Anyway, it was a bit of a laugh and I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. I was expecting rolled eyes and canning it at the 20 minute mark...nice surprise!

oh man am i excited.   gonna watch it tonight,  do a nice little face exfoliating mask,  some nice snack.  a real treat yo self kinda day

cocaine bear was super fun.  very far from the original story, but of course. Really quite gory. RIP Ray Liota.

I also watched Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. It wasn't as bad as I expected it to be. But it is still bad. Not sure if the creators were trying to achieve cult status with this thing, it has nothing on The Room, but it does have enough notoriety now that the director has received death threats, so that's something.

now that the director has received death threats

I am the silence at the end of your journey

Unscrupulous people lie or exaggerate the extent to which they were threatened to gin up attention. The more they get in the news, the more they will be noticed. People who hadn’t heard of some project now know. That translates to more ticket sales. May be the case here. There’s a very high chance.

What may have been an unserious pisstake troll wrote a mean thing online = a life was threatened and in danger? Could be a stretch. There’s no actual example in the article, just a guy saying it. Huge conflict of interest.

Unicorn Wars (2022)

This is an animated movie for adults complete with very graphic scenes and themes. It's one big allegory not for the faint of heart.

While not normally my kind of film, this is a good movie. And it's really dark. Like, Full Metal Jacket dark, which contrasts greatly against what are typically children-friendly characters, and that might be one of the reasons why I liked it as much as I did. There's a lot to unpack in this film, both on the surface and what lies beneath. Great for discussions if you can handle the imagery.

Overall, it's a fucked up film, and that's the whole point.
