Just trying to get my head around this. Haven't tried it but perhaps it will work, download Hotspot Shield which changes your IP address and then run it and see if you can run Dropbox.

Perhaps the computer geeks could advise us as to whether it would work or not.

I bypassed my my school's block of Craigslist like this but not sure if it works on an application that is not linked to a web browser.

If it makes you feel any better, when I was teaching in USA, dropbox was banned there as well....they said it took up too much bandwidth.

Potential fixes (these are off the top of my head, I'm not 100% sure if they can work)


-Try encrypting ALL of your computer's traffic. You can do this through something like hotspot shield.
-Try using Fiddler2
