*Moved* Bikram Yoga classes taught in English (Gangnam)
« on: October 31, 2011, 11:39:54 am »
Edit: I originally posted this in the wrong category. Should be in "Life in Korea" Section

I've seen several posts from people looking for yoga in their area. I've tried to advise people of yoga places I know of (usually in Bundang). But for those looking for lessons in English, there is an official Bikram Yoga studio in Gangnam. It is the only affiliated studio now that Yoga Palace in Apgujeong is closing down. Anyways, they have a  knowledgeable, friendly community, and free mat/towel service. It's right behind Kyobo Tower.  With the new Bundang express subway line, Gangnam  is only 15 min away from Jeongja station.

Someone PM'ed me so I thought I would share the answer publicly. The instructors for the most part are Korean, but they teach the class in English.

I'll bump my previous thread instead of making a new one:

Update-
The Bikram Yoga Korea yoga studio is having a sale through the month of November. If two people sign up at the same time for three months, the total price is 589,000won. That's less than 99,000won per month per person for unlimited yoga.

To recap- 2 people + 3 months of unlimited Bikram Hot Yoga = less than 99,000won a month.

When I first got to Korea, it was hell trying to find a quality studio... or just one that allowed men. Now that I found one, I'd like to make it easier to find for others.

Is anyone interested in signing up with me? I'd like to give it a try and sign up before the sale ends or if anyone has a suggestion for a studio in Bundang, that would be helpful too
