I haven't been this amazed by an album in years-- it's not so often you hear something that sounds like it was made by actual musicians.
I listened to it for all 8 classless hours of my day today and it's still amazing.

Seriously, THIS SONG:

Secret Chiefs 3 are great. "The Exile" is another cool song from that album. May the Mr. Bungle diaspora live on!

Yeah… they're on tour with aPaTt now which would have to be one of the most amazing shows of all time and I'm giving serious consideration to quitting this wretched job just to go see them.

Kpop, like most days.

Nu'est - Face is playing right now. Next up is E.Via's 오빠! 나 해도돼?, followed by... looks like Jrap, Ozrosaurus' "Area".

Listened to Austra - 'Feel It Break' this morning, and realized I haven't been appreciating it properly.

Tried and failed (for the fourth time) to get into Fugazi this week.

I've been listening to Lil B's newest new mixtape, 'God's Father.' It epitomizes his #based style, and it's got some really, really deep stuff in it. It's also massive - almost two hours long.

Also! In exciting news, my hero and inspiration Lil B is going to be giving a speaking presentation at NYU on April 11th, so if you have friends or family in New York, you should let them know. He really is one of the greatest musicians and free thinkers of our generation, and he doesn't do things like that often at all.

Here's a link to where I heard about the talk he's going to be giving.

http://nyulocal.com/on-campus/2012/03/27/lil-b-set-to-speak-at-nyu/

I'm so genuinely jealous of anyone who can attend that. If I had vacation, I'd probably buy a ticket to New York just to hear him.

Also been listening to a lot of the new Sleigh Bells, and some really good triphop electronica by a guy named Mister Lies.

AAAAAAHHHHHH LET ME OUT THIS MOTHERFUCKIN CAGE!!!!!!!!
