Can I extend my 30 day tourist visa in China?
« on: June 03, 2011, 02:39:20 pm »
I just got a 30 day tourist visa for China, and was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to extend that visa once I'm in China.

Because of my ARC card, the travel agency told me that 30 days was the maximum length visa I can get in Korea, but it maybe possibel to extend it once in China.

Does anyone have any information about this?

Thanks for your help.

Yes you can extend for another 30 days (more than once I think).  I know this is true of UK citizens.  This is possible in all major cities and a lot of smaller ones too.

For US citizens, it's quite a bit more expensive. But, it's also quite possible to extend your visa for Tibet.

Hello,

For a tourist visa I think there is no problem to extend it for another 30 days, but I think you have to give them so documents.
