Evening friends,

Can anyone recommend a good place to buy a good tin opener?

I'd try Home Plus--Daiso is good too but HP might have some different brands.

Depending on your needs, there are many options available to you.

This cheeky chappie comes at a knockdown price and is sure to meet most basic tin opening needs! It's also available in an assortment of jolly colours. Personally, I'm a fan of the blue! You might mistakenly think it was cyan but I am an expert on colours and can tell you it is actually cerulean blue!

For the more advanced, arthritic, technophile or simply lazy tinned-goods consumer, this futuristic device could be the answer to all your small-scale tin opening problems! Not only is it useful and attractive, it's also guaranteed to impress the ladies! Who can resist a man with an automated tin opener?? not me!

and finally, for those who simply have to have the biggest, best, most powerful tin opener on the market, this monster can be yours for the affordable yet reassuringly expensive price of W167,310 (plus P&P)

Let me know how the hunt goes, and post some videos of you opening tins with whichever device you decide to purchase! I would be glad to do the same, although I just use a big knife so some may find the videos disturbing. It also makes a horrible noise, like fingernails on a blackboard or a tin being opened with a big knife.

actually that's not entirely accurate. if, for example, you opened a can of baked beans against an orange wall, the splashed residue could be hard to detect visually and would thus make cleaning a tricky process! also, if some beans escaped the can and the consumer wished to amass them for eating, it would be infinitely preferable to have the mess spread across a wall in a colour against which orange is easily visible, for example white. or cerulean blue.
