"Stereotypy" ... the abnormal repeated behavior by caged animals
« on: September 17, 2023, 01:11:57 pm »
"...with glass enclosures for bears, jaguars, lions and tigers, as well as a lynx inside a smaller enclosure..."

Korean law allows 2-meter wide, 10-meter wide living conditions. Not transport conditions. 24/7 for the biggest predators.

Help others, especially animals. Say what you think, be considerate of others. Appreciate more than deprecate. Teach well, jump on teachable moments. Enjoy Korea as it is, without changing it. Dwell! Yet, at times, change your life for the better. "The most important [thing] is to have a good day."

The zoo, are you watching the animals or are they...studying you perchance?

There is a new pet shop in the neighborhood, the second one in town I think.

I see a lot of fish tanks inside, little else, but all birds in cages out front and little turtles. No mammals.

I admire the attention and care it takes to operate 20+ fish tanks. He must be appreciative of the animals. When it comes to fish, i dunno how much stress they feel. I've had fish that seemed alright, casually streaming about. I seriously don't know.

I know no mammal wants to be cooped up or leashed. Cats and dogs have to trade off their freedom for pet protection and privileges.

We all know the birds want to fly.

No bird should be caged. They'd rather die than eat grain in a small jail. We can pet them in any event.
