Recent Online Master's in Ed?
« on: August 26, 2023, 11:47:53 am »
Anybody done one recently?

How was the workload? I'm not so concerned with costs as they're really easy to look up; what I would like to understand is how much I need to put in and how quickly?

Many thanks!
It's nice to be important but more important to be nice.

Not much, I'd imagine. Aren't Ed types notoriously dimwitted and slack-jawed? Although I for one am proud that the hard-of-learning can access advanced degrees just like regular folk. Good for you, Jez, I'm rooting for you.

If you want to teach in your home country, go home and take a Bachelor's of Education.  Yes, it will take a year or two to finish.  But, it will open more doors.  Some of these other online Master's will let you work at an international school on a case by case basis.  Though some of them may be lower paying or status ones.  You can still take these online masters in other fields to build up your resume, but long term you will need a BEd and teacher's license from back home to go furthest in this field.  (I know some guys without the BEd who took the online Master's and did work at some intentional schools.  But, they still have limits.)

If you already have one, then never mind, and carry on.

I was talking to a girl from Tinder and I told her I was a Master of E.D. She deleted me
