Most Christians, 99% of them don't do what you describe and personally I would never do something like that and every church I have been involved in NEVER did this sort of thing. I TOTALLY disagree with doing this sort of thing as it does more harm than good as evidenced by your reaction.  You get crazies in all aspects of life, not just religion.

Don't judge all Christians by the actions of a few crazies, that is a gross generalisation and certainly not a true reflection of what true Christianity is.  Jesus never acted like this and as his followers I believe we should follow his example.

I consider my students to be children of my own. I love them as if they were my own offspring, and care about them because I love them. If you're such a Debbie Downer that it bothers you, maybe you shouldn't be a teacher, you Negative Nancy! If your students don't remember you after they leave, maybe you should respect and cherish them more, you killjoy. Gah. What a wet blanket. I have a question for you, Mr. Killjoy?
