Have your kids asked you about this song yet?
« on: May 22, 2023, 03:24:07 pm »

This is the worst singing I've ever heard. It's just stream of consciousness...... ................... ... No flow, no rhythm. Zero rhyme.

I went to the store
And there was a guy
I like bananas and
my parents are divorced.

I just wrote that. It sounds like shit. Just like this song.
And if my thought-dreams could be seen
They’d probably put my head in a guillotine

My students love it. It gives them an excuse to swear in
class. I like the song. They also like "Tomboy" which
uses the same expletive.

I don't mind. I love swearing, hate Christians.

You're gonna summon Saffer with words like that.

It is literally the worst piece of music I have ever heard.
Does your wife submit to you?

No, I am cool with him, he is just a bigot who also probably thinks all Muslims are raving fanatics who are all out to kill the infidel.

Ironically he is proving the thing he hates most, fulfilling of the Bible's prophecy.

Actually I'm not a bigot. I just don't like the these freaks that
stalk the streets in gangs asking people if they luv Jeeesus and
try to push flyers of their dingy, boring worship holes in my face.

I also am not a fan of when these types become political and
try and ram outdated, conservative and repressive laws down
the public's throat.

If you want to throw the dice on the existence of a hyper
pan-dimensional mega-being, then good luck with that. Just
get out of my face.

Most Christians, 99% of them don't do what you describe and personally I would never do something like that and every church I have been involved in NEVER did this sort of thing. I TOTALLY disagree with doing this sort of thing as it does more harm than good as evidenced by your reaction.  You get crazies in all aspects of life, not just religion.

Don't judge all Christians by the actions of a few crazies, that is a gross generalisation and certainly not a true reflection of what true Christianity is.  Jesus never acted like this and as his followers I believe we should follow his example.

Actually I'm not a bigot.
Basing an opinion on an extreme few rather than the overwhelming majority that are the norm, prejudging entire groups based on isolated examples, not taking into account both sides of the ledger, and having reflexive intolerance of millions/billions of people means yeah, you probably are a bigot.

No, haven't heard anything about it around my schools, but that might be by design, haha.

This song sounds really similar familiar to me, but can't really place what song it reminds me of.

That would be as bigoted as judging all white western teachers in Korea based on a Canadian jackass you once met a Gecko's in 2001 who thought Koreans did everything backwards and he was God's gift to Korean ladies.

No, I haven't been able to bring myself to listen to this song.  Especially now that Chinguetti has stated "This song sounds really similar to me,"  Those must be some twisted lyrics.  Probably references a failed experiment at making poutine that they tried to shovel under the carpet.

I hate how some teachers refer to their students as "my kids". They're not your kids. They are someone else's kids who will most likely forget all about you shortly after you have left.

Did you really just bump a two month old thread to say that? I'll have to tell my kids. They'll find it hilarious.

Yes I did. Tell your kids. Are you married to all of their mothers? If not, you know what your kids are, right? If you are, you know what you are, right?

I consider my students to be children of my own. I love them as if they were my own offspring, and care about them because I love them. If you're such a Debbie Downer that it bothers you, maybe you shouldn't be a teacher, you Negative Nancy! If your students don't remember you after they leave, maybe you should respect and cherish them more, you killjoy. Gah. What a wet blanket. I have a question for you, Mr. Killjoy? Are you really Lichtenstein? As in, the country of Lichtenstein? No? Then get off my back! They're my kids! Why are you named after a country, anyway? You think this is the UN?
