R.I.P. Gordon Lightfoot

One of the greatest solo artists ever, I think. A true Canadian troubadour.

I admire Rick Beato, and he deconstructs this astonishing song in the most profoundly detailed way and allows those such as I to understand the subtle complexities of Lightfoot's seminal hit song, "If You Could Read My Mind".

Gordon Lightfoot played the community center on the RCAF base we lived on back in the 70's. I took my grandmother for her birthday. I remember the day with perfect clarity. I miss my grandmother. Feeling melancholy....

Heard it in Hua Hin, Thailand and smiled.

Just found out.  Rest in peace Gordon.  My grandfather had the same name.  Pretty solid Canadian name.
Happy Teachers Day to New Orleans.
