These days, I get up around 4:30-5:00 AM. On gym days, I go to the gym and stay until around 6:30, then go home, clean up, eat breakfast, pack my lunch (if going to my main school, I eat in the cafeteria at my travel school), and catch whichever bus I need to catch to get to work. Non-gym days look about the same, only I go for an early morning walk or jog, depending on how I'm feeling. I typically get to whatever school about an hour early. I use that time to get my shit ready for classes. If I don't have anything I need to get ready, I'll work on whatever project I've got going on atm.

I get up that early because I enjoy the morning air, I love watching the sunrise, I don't like to rush, and I prefer getting to work before anyone else does because it's peaceful and quiet during that time. As an added bonus, I also avoid running into people I'd rather not.

4:30AM... my god. I'm lucky if I get up by 8 to get to work at 8:30. The last time I got up so early was when I was working at a cafe as a teenager but I never feel like I have the motivation nor energy to get up any earlier than necessary. I thought it was my age at first but that's a cop-out to be sure. I think it's a symptom of not liking my job plus having a night-owl disposition.

If I had a hagwon job I'd never get anything personal done because I'd only just be starting to feel like a capable non-zombie when it'd be time to go to work!
