Budweiser has lost 6 billion dollars since putting Dylan Mulvaney on the can. That's a boatload of cash.

Conservative cancel culture at work. Amazing how the right lets Fox tell them what beer to drink or not to drink. That's a lot of sheep to herd.

Six billion in value, not revenue. BIG difference. Those rednecks probably don't even drink six billion worth of beer in that time period.

Imagine being the kind of person that doesn't try to put this into a broader context.

Like this kind of context:

you'd think the average fox viewer would be elated about the whole bud light thing, now they can call people who drink it gay without facing repercussions.

There are loads of shitty beers in America.

I drink beer to relax.

I do not drink beer to be taught how to be a more enlightened person.

It’s easier to choose a different shitty beer.

Alcohol consumption is an unhealthy habit. Americans are overweight and in bad health. Drinking less beer will make people healthier. Boycotting Budweiser will lead to less alcohol consumption. Boycotting Budweiser means a healthier America.

Did you take this from the opening of the winning speech of a grade four speech contest under the theme "How to make America better?"  Boycotting Budweiser, as has been pointed out, just means drinking a different beer.  I have not heard anyone deciding to give up beer because of Bud Light's campaign.

Did Bud Light tell me to become trans? Or did they just use a trans spokesperson? As far as I can tell all they did was have her say "I like Bud Light" and gave her some attention. BFD.

FFS, Bud Light isn't telling you to go out and get your d chopped off. Why is this a problem? If they had Trump or Kid Rock as a spokesperson would any of you give two sh*ts? Why this?

Starting Tuesday, Bud Light drinkers in the Lone Star State can enjoy special "Texified" packaging.

To celebrate 35 years of brewing Bud Light in Houston, the beermaker's largest brewery, Bud Light is debuting special-edition bottles and cans featuring the iconic Texas lone star.

"The Houston brewery has been perfecting Bud Light and other Anheuser-Busch brands for the state since 1982, but this is the first time the brand has created a Texas-specific packaging," the company said.

What's more, Bud Light said they later add region-specific campaigns in 2018. Details about those campaigns will released at a later date.

The Texas-themed cans are available statewide on Tuesday anywhere Bud Light is sold.

New York, NY, USA; Earth, Milky Way Galaxy; Virgo Supercluster, Sept. 13, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Bud Light announced it is producing an alien-themed Bud Light Can to share with any alien that leaves the sanctuary of Area 51 on September 20th.

In July, Bud Light had pledged free beer for all aliens who escaped and promised to create a limited-edition alien pack if this tweet received 51K retweets. While the tweet fell just short of 51K RTs, Bud Light aims to please and the consumer response was so great, they decided to make it anyway. The favorite light lager of American Earthlings has followed through and created the Bud Light alien cans for legal drinking aged humans and extraterrestrials to enjoy together.

I pay my beer company to make beer.

I pay the electric company to provide electricity.

Etc etc.

I don’t expect or want anything else.

I firmly believe companies should stick to making a quality product for their customers and avoid diving into politics.

You’ve also not addressed the elephant in the room. Budweiser isn’t good. In a sea of bad beers why would you want to drink Budweiser?

Because it is cheap, consistent, readily available and goes down easy. It's also on special a lot of the time. You also don't spend 10 minutes dicking around trying to choose and then another 10 minites talking pointlessly about how much better your taste in beer is because you're drinking LlamaHump Brewery's Summer Sweaty Jeans Shandy.

Respect to everyone who drinks Black Label, Old Style, Natty, Olde English, Old Milwaukee, Busch Light, Coors Light and every other cheap shitty beer.

There's nothing new about companies sending products to people with many fans in the hope that said people will highlight the products. Imagine getting outraged because a jewelry designer sent a necklace to Beyonce or something.

"She's not a jewelry model! She should stick to singing! Beyonce once described herself as a feminist - why can't jewelry makers stick to jewelry and keep their noses out of politics?"

The only difference between this and the other 10,000+ instances of this phenomenon is that the recipient of a gift was transgender. That's it. That's what everyone's freaking out about.

An absolute milestone in mass stupidity.
