I just like the fact that they got a crappy pikachu tattoo and decided to touch it up with one that is infinitely better drawn.

pretty commonplace for most young adults these days. well, maybe not commonplace per se i guess, but not really surprising to see either

It's not really any different from getting fictional animals like unicorns, dragons, angels, or griffins tattooed.
It represents a reference to something important in one's life, or an aesthetic that one enjoys.

Kind of like getting  tattoos of a bottle of Budweiser and a vagina.

I'm nearly sure that, in the history of human-kind, there have been worse tattoos.
 

I've barely had time to check in here for a long time now. I have a real teaching job! But, it's nice to see nothing has changed. Still a bunch of wankers arguing about useless crap and derailing threads which could be interesting.

I mean, this is true for 95% of threads, granted, but I think this one has managed to stay relatively on topic.

Yeah, well done! I think I'll stick with my not real teaching job though. I love my compensation and the10 hours of classes a week far too much to even think about being a real teacher again.

difference is in pay, benefits, level of oversight, curriculum (and
limitations therein), violence, guns, backstabbing, office politics,
commutes, burnout, stress and location.
