It's called 屿 bar. Address is 渝北区﹣黄泥磅紫康 5号. It seems to be a new place. It isn't on dianping yet. I'm going to check out a place called 立吞Hops啤酒花精酿酒馆 tonight.

I'd try to translate it into English but Chinese addresses are weird. Different parts of China have different conventions for expressing them. I'm used to the Shanghai system so I'm struggling here.

Edit: hanging out at 立吞Hops啤酒花精酿酒馆. It seems to be a trendy place for young people. They have a good selection of beers.

In Macau now. I got a hotel in Zhuhai and I'm going to walk across the border every day that I'm here. I'm not a big gambler (only poker with friends) so I'll be taking in the culture and enjoying some Portuguese food.

It took a long time to get through Gongbei border crossing tonight. I think tomorrow when I come back to China I'll take Lotus Bridge and get the bus from there.

Macau is nice. Great restaurants. Amazing Portuguese delis with chorizo
sausages.   I took a ferry from Macau to HK and have never had such bad
seasickness in my life. I thought I was going to die.

There's a bridge from Macau to Hong Kong now, so you can just take a bus. I probably won't go to Hong Kong this time just because of the hassle of getting a Covid test. It was a bit of a weird feeling having my passport stamped for the first time in almost three years.

There's a lot of dentists in Zhuhai just over the border. I guess Macanese come over to get their teeth cleaned for cheap.

Update: went to the Macau Art Gallery today and am currently at a local hole in the wall enjoying a plate of Portuguese fried rice with a bottle of fresh, cold Tsingtao. Language is a bit of an issue here as I don't speak a word of Cantonese. Macau is nice for a visit but it's always a relief when I go back to Zhuhai.

Another update: went back over to Macau today. I rode the subway which seems to only be used by foreign migrant workers. They wanted to have a bigger system but for now it just goes from the airport and ferry terminals  to the casinos, which is pretty much useless for tourists because the casinos have free shuttle buses that are way more comfortable. It was too hard to build it in the old part of the city. When I came back to Zhuhai I took Lotus Bridge. On the Zhuhai side they now have a giant shopping mall built to look like a Macanese casino where Macanese people come to buy cheap booze and groceries.

My hotel is just mediocre but it's above a seafood restaurant that's apparently pretty famous. There's always lots of luxury  cars coming and going. They even have a restaurant-branded limo parked outside that looks like it hasn't been  moved in years.
