Good catch! Its edited now but ezmatch, eztell,이지영어 and ezrecruiting are all the same company. I'm surprised ol' Scotty can afford underlings. I reckon this deserves its own mod disclaimer haha.

oh man,  this guy is gonna get eviscerated.  Scoot boot nipple toot was probably just adding a second profile and hoping to go unnoticed
these jobs are bad, and you should feel bad.

stick to hiring "models"

for future notices, the Basic details should include the school name.

i dont know why the school name has never been included,  it reeks of hiding something

He went from one decent detailed job ad to Scotty's rapid fire diarrhoea list haha.

I also believed this:

Hey Renma - lol I honestly don't know who the legendary Scotty is - but yes the terms and the PayScale and increases are the same as EPIK.

And am now feeling lied to and betrayed  >:(  >:(

I think it might be because there are a bunch of morons going around criticising job ads on Waygook.org and Facebook, and harassing the school owners, while knowing nothing about the running of a hagwon and the current market. Obviously I won't name any names.

Well, I guess I must be one of those morons.
People need to be vocal about places that offer barely more than minimum wage, have poor working conditions, or offer illegal contracts. New teachers, especially, need to be made aware of what's a bad deal and what's a reasonable job offer. You'd be a poor example of a person, encouraging someone to leave friends and family and come on over to Korea for a job that was less than good. The fact is, no one around here is critical of decent job offers. I'm also pretty sure that many of us are aware of the current market, and some of us do know how to run a hagwon. Things are difficult, but that is not a reason to offer substandard wages and conditions.

If your business can't offer a decent wage and working/living conditions, then you don't have a successful business plan.

Thank you for the criticism and feedback - itís humbly appreciated. Although itís hard to reply to every critic out there, I'll reply with this one post. I donít think some people appreciate the work that recruiters have to do. Yes, part of a recruiters job is to advertise the opportunities they have, but also a major part of it is managing their clients (the schools and hagwons) and the ESL teachers' expectations.

Who do you think negotiates on the part of ESL teachers? Recruitment has its own challenges and the work that recruiters have to do is really under-appreciated. There is a lot more work that recruiters have to do than most people realise.

My last advert for the school in Hoengseong-gun, was a customised ad for the school. A friend of mine works there and is the hiring manager. Plus I've personally visited the area, so it was easy to write a customised post. The area is remote, so required a little more detail and marketing, whereas Seoul or other metropolitan cities wouldn't require as much.

These other jobs are opportunities that have become available. If you don't like the look of what's on offer, you don't have to apply for it. Generally, looking for ESL opportunities, teachers mainly look at the area, salary, start date ,student age group and whether housing is available and the transportation links. Applying is simple. Pick those things, see what's available that fit your criteria and then contact us and we can provide the extra details or information, including the school name. If then you don't Iike the look of a school or institution after some due diligence, you don't have to book the interview. Itís that simple.

Cut recruiters some slack please. If you have x number of years experience, then the salary can be negotiated. We can do that on your behalf - depending on what's on offer. We offer expats more services than just recruiting, so you're in good hands. Just have a look on their website.

First figure out what your criteria or requirements are, search for suitable jobs on the list or on the website and then contact us for more information. We might get jobs where we can provide more details and a more customised ad - like my previous post. I guess just look out for those from time to time.

There are good and bad recruiters out there. If youíve had a bad experience with a recruiter, then donít choose to work with that recruiter. Simple

Props for replying but those wages are offensive and donít in anyway reflect cost of living. Pay peanuts get monkeys.

15,000 won is darn near minimum wage. Esl industry in Korea is a joke and all you have to do is ask any korean who has been studying English for 10+years a mildly difficult question to see how terrible the education system is here. Even hagwons with their Urinara publishers full of grammatical mistakes arenít immune from this problem.

2.2 + housing + healthcare is a decent wage. It's just not hardship/shithole level pay any more.

Cry me a river...
15.000/hour is inexcusable.
